Like I said, I’m fine with taking a chance on a risk type player but not a habitual rule breaker and specially one who essentially fails the combine(biggest job interview they’ll ever have). Plus every other team in the league passed on Hill 7 times at minimum. No guarantee he does well or flames out.
I agree that if they though Harrison or Hill or whothe****ever could play, they should have [eta: tried to] signed them. We don't know what happened. Maybe those guys liked their chances to make a team elsewhere? I just have to keep asking myself..."Why the hell didn't they?" There has to be reasons that I don't know about.

Excuses, A 10-6 playoff team that probably wouldn't beat the Pats and a 12-4 team with a healthy Schaub but lost 3 of their last 4 to lose HOA. I wouldn't call that a contender. Fact is they've only beaten 2 Marvin Lewis coached Bengals team and a Raiders team who was playing with a 3rd string QB. Not exactly a history of excellence.
If they draft you and they think you can play you can get caught PED'ing, smoking weed you're OK. If you get caught in college not a chance in he** you will be a Texan. Okoye is the exception to the rule. # One guy in 15 years.

BTW, I've said if the OL plays even avg and keeps Watson healthy, Coutee-Akins can contribute what I think they can, they will win 10-11 games with this easy schedule.

Here's a random thought.. take weed smoking out of the picture.. could it be that Holton Hill simply ISN'T the most talented person out there and it is simply your opinion? What if they didn't care about any substance abuse or problems with getting into trouble like you want, and they just didn't like him as a player?
