It's been a while since I stopped in but Ken's Tacos in Austin (off Cameron) used to be pretty good. Just lock your car.

Brisket is not meant for tacos. Bucee's needs to stop that crap. Overrated breakfast place. Now I'm at la michoacana about to eat the real brisket, Barbacoa tacos.

Very true. Turned my nose up at Rudy's and such for years.

Valentina's on Manchaca will change your mind.

Mirthas in West Columbia has my favorite, one chorizo &egg, one potato egg and beans... best in the WORLD,and if you don't like MY thing then you just like 2nd best, you don't know what's supposed to be, HANDS DOWN, the thing you like doesn't belong in the authentic thing, that I like, PERIOD.

    Change my mind.

Hate to tell you, but a lot of Mexicans living in Texas are really embracing brisket. Have been for a while. Dropping that stuff in a tortilla is just a natural progression. I never seem to order them (I guess deep down, I feel the same as you), but when I’ve been handed some good brisket in a good corn tortilla, I’ve never said “yuck.”

I've heard about Soliz for twenty years from kids that went to Dulles and have never been. I need to correct that.

We've been doing Pistolero's a lot for Sunday Brunch. Not the best, but $3 breakfast tacos and $2 mimosas makes us happy campers.

Their bloody mary is basically a full-meal deal. (you can add any taco to it)

Please tell me you're not one of those people who asks for skewers of a bunch of random crap on the top of a bloody mary and puts pictures of it on instagram.

Get a ****ing plate like a normal human. It's one of the dumbest trends I've ever seen, and you know that the bartenders and servers just love doing it for you when they're slammed during weekend brunch service.

Actually, this was a girl I was with who posted it on FB. Not sure she's on IG, as I don't don't go on there.

I bought a chorizo taco, several Mimosas and eventually went to Waco.

Facebook, Instagram, whatever, "social media" if that works better.

Don't let it happen again at your table. It's a look-at-me douche move. ;)
