Who said that? If you have ever read anything I have posted about Lin’s time with the Rockets, you would know that I believe the Rockets were right to build around Harden, move Lin to lead the second unit, and ultimately trade him. The idea that Harden held Lin back is stupid...

Trae Young has been awful this season so far. If he becomes hated, it will be in Atlanta, not California.

Of course Lin fans hate Trae Young
And every guard who has ever started in front of Lin

Lin and Melo could be the dynamic duo

I don't hate Trae Young. But he's shooting 39%, 24% from 3, so I think comparisons to Steph Curry are definitely premature.

And fwiw, most Lin fans that I know liked Kemba Walker. Considered him a deserving starting PG and a good teammate.

Lin was right to feel dissed that the Rockets photoshopped Melo with Lin's jersey. Melo was a horrible Rocket.

    No
Number 7 is not a retired number and Lin has done nothing to earn that as his signature number for the Rockets
    @Zboy
Not even Tmac who was way better got the number 1 as exclusive to him

When you purposely have a bad roster
You are trying to tank for the lottery

Lin fans know this but refuse to believe any roster with Lin is bad

Lin was still on the team. Melo had done nothing to earn it either.

? The Hawks roster is awful. Everyone knows that. But they already have two pieces that they want to build around (Trae Young and John Collins), so they are already rebuilding and are in the stage of trying to develop the key players on their roster. Purposefully losing for draft position would be a horrible tone to set with those young cornerstone players. Unfortunately, Lin is not in their plans beyond being there to mentor Young, so he’s irrelevant to their future plans.

He mentored James Harden. Pretty much showed him what not to do.

Lin leading in scoring has equaled losses
    Losses equals ping pong balls
    Ping pong balls equals lottery
Zion equals the Hawks will be relevant again with Trae Young

He can teach you that if you had a bad game you can ask your fans to pray to god to help you make jumpers

You can’t see they are tanking ?
    Optometrist is needed

    They lost again

Philly tanked. Their cornerstone players are doing fine

    Lin fits perfectly

Duh...Basketball is a team sport. Hawks roster is bad. Of course they are going to lose games. They have no plan for Lin, so he's not getting many minutes. Yet he's still leading them in scoring, so obviously can still play. Hoping they trade him soon.

At this point, Trae Young is Steph Curry without the shooting ability. If he doesn't learn how to shoot, he will simply be an undersized PG and a defensive liability. Hopefully he learns from Lin how to play in the NBA.
