If that’s what is happening here, it would be he first one he is on.

The sixers were tanking for years
You must have not noticed because you were too busy admiring Lins career

Jeremy Lin is ideal person to have to secure high pick. Went to Lakers, high pick, went to charlotte, pick, went to Nets high pick and now Hawks, guaranteed high pick

    Tank commander numero uno

True. I didn't really care much about the Sixers. As a NY-area fan, I hate Philly sports (and similarly, I hate Boston sports). And yes, Lin's career has been very interesting to me...lots to admire. I am a big fan of the underdog story that he represents. That he is Asian-American and an Ivy League alum make him all that much more interesting to me. Sixers? Who the hell cares?

And ? I was responding to you saying that Lin was on a tanking roster...Lin was not on the Sixers, so not sure why you're bringing them up here.

? Charlotte won 48 games and made it to the playoffs when Lin joined the team (after missing the playoffs the year before).

    Lin is helping Atlanta
Without him they would have lost by 60 points

We know Lin wasn’t on the Sixers
You are PRETENDING to not know they were losing year after to get lotto picks

You are either pretending or are so blind by your Lin devotion to see that Atlanta is tanking and getting Lin was part of the plan

    This team couldn’t beat Duke

    LOL Yup.

He has helped several teams tank.

    Lakers, Nets, Hawks..

Nets had a worse record the year he played compare to when he was out lol.

Lakers dumped him after a year because they wanted to win. Nets dumped him because they want to win games now. Atlanta got him because they would like to tank.

You want a lottery pick? Add Lin to your team and your chances increase dramatically.

Of course I knew the Sixers sucked. Again, I responded to your note about Lin being on a tanking roster saying that Atlanta was the first time he was on a tanking roster. You responded by bringing up the Sixers, so naturally I assumed you were saying that Lin was on the Sixers.

And of course I see that the Atlanta roster sucks. But I don't think that the Hawks' management and coach would purposely try to lose games to get a better draft position...if this roster started winning games, I don't think they make changes to start trying to lose. I will say that I believe Byron Scott did try to tank with Lin on the Lakers once Kobe called it quits in January of that season...but that roster was not built to tank.

? The Nets were nearly .500 with Lin playing vs. something around .200 without him in his first season with the Nets.

As far as his second year, of course they were better...Allan Crabbe, Demare Caroll, Jared Allen were big upgrades over Randy Foye, Justin Hamilton, Archie Goodwin, etc.

Lakers dumped him, then won 4 less games than with him (only won 17, whereas they won 21 the year Lin was on the team). And every player that left the Lakers along with Lin went on to have much better seasons than with Byron Scott.

Nets traded him because of his uncertainty with his injury recovery.

On the other hand, the Knicks, Rockets, and Hornets all returned to the playoffs when they added Lin to their roster after missing the playoffs the previous season.

HAHAHA, Dude you are posting on the Rockets forum, stop trying to misrepresent facts.

Did you forget who we got that season that Lin came onto the team, yea just some guy named James Harden.

Lin and Asik were taking us straight the ping pong balls

Harden held Lin back. The Lin/Asik Rockets would've been a dynasty.

    Haha yup.

Rockets would have still made it in the playoffs. Thank heavens we got Harden. Otherwise imagine Lin carrying that ROckets team. WOuld have taken us straight to lottery picks lol.

And then we all know what Airemy did in the playoffs as a Rocket. Went instantly on the trading block if he wasnt already.

Morey kept looking to trade him, but could only do so by sacrificing a pick.

Like I said before, you have to really have low self esteem to keep coming back to a team forum that Airemy hasnt played for years after getting booted, and to try to save his honor, like yoeddy does.

    Sad.

    lulz...

It’s amazing that thinks the Hawks aren’t purposely tanking for Zion
    Because they acquired Lin

I did not misrepresent facts. I responded to a comment that said “add Lin to the team and get a lottery pick”. Clearly that was not true with the Knicks, Rockets and Hornets.
