Would one of you fine folks be interested in stepping in to fill a potential vacancy in our long-standing baseball keeper league? It looks like Smeg may not return, so his team will likely open up. This league is run on ESPN and we are looking at a live draft potentially this weekend. There is another thread you can check out for more details, and a link to the league site. Hey there fade, is this just one team you are looking to fill? I ask because my bro and I (PippenAintEZ, or Al'z Starz in the 3 team league) are going to go watch some Astros spring training games this weekend (really excited about going!), and one, or both of us, could do a live draft Saturday night. If if it just one team, it's all good, we can just do the draft together, and fighting over draft picks sounds surprisingly fun. Let me know what you think, and we can figure out all the logistics.
Fade, now that Smeg is back, why don't you consider letting both of them in to expand back to 10 teams from 8. You could give them A) the entire first round of picks or B) we each give them one player, or C) let them draft from scratch with us but of course they would suck out the first year as a true expansion franchise. This will give you some flexibility in future years and inject some new blood.
I like this idea. Could have some sort of an expansion draft where we just keep less players and let them choose from the remaining. Time is obviously a factor, but Im for it if @fadeaway and others in the league are

I don't want y'all to re-configure the entire logistics of the league, but if everyone wants both of us to join, we can do that too. Again, it would have to be Saturday night (in case that's a deal breaker for anyone). Let me know what y'all decide.
