Super close and could go either way, like most of these match-ups. The Bayern rematch and now going up against Real two times will determine whether PSG was ridiculously hyped or the real deal.

City looks like a good hybrid of Germany, Spain, France, Spain and South America.

Aka spend a billion on the best talents in the world and hope enough of them pan out. And if they don't, there's always enough money to spend further. :p

Hotspurs are surprisingly good as well in CL more than in the league.

Aurier, Trippier, Vertonghen, Davis, Eriksen, Son, Dele Alli, Kane, Llorente. Who else. Pool is also making noise with Mo scoring and running like crazy.

True true. Some delicious matchups await fans.
Yeah true, there is legit upset potential with Spurs vs Juve.

Don't even see it as an upset when you analyze the season, but I think most people underestimate Tottenham because of a lack of spotlight and Juve's reputation.

Tottenham's offense is crazy strong, just got to work out their defensive issues. Kinda remind me of last season's Monaco in that regard.

    Predicted winners:

    Tottenham-Juventus
    Manchester City
    -Basel
    Liverpool-Porto
    Manchester United-Sevilla
    PSG-Real Madrid
    Roma-Shakhtar Donetsk
    Barcelona-Chelsea
    Beşiktaş-Bayern

The PSG-Real matchup is pretty spectacular.

Kompany has had issues staying on the pitch for three seasons in a row now, they can't rely on him being healthy anymore. With regards to Otamendi, he's caught off position and has to make those insane tackles way too often. Also with Mendy and Walker being average defenders, the CB is all that more important. Peps system allows for these week wing defenders but I don't think you beat the best with the CB pairing they have.

Tottenham will always have a problem against teams that are willing to bunker in. They're at their best when they can run at you and get a bunch of their goals in the run of play, rather than with a bunch of possession. Their big win against Real was because Real loves to send their backs forward and Tottenham made them pay for it. But when they played Arsenal a few weeks ago, Arsenal sat back and forced them to move the ball from side to side. They don't have the back-to-goal types in the midfield or up front and they couldn't do anything. Meanwhile, Arsenal finished their chances and the game ended up an easy win.

I'm not familiar with Juve's current style...but if it's a typical Italian team, they'll be happy to defend and counter.

True, that's why they reminded me a bit of Monaco, maybe also the typical Klopp teams.
Always feel for Eriksen, this team doesn't utilize him right at all, he'd be extremely dominant on a squad with a possession style.

Coached some big teams like Porto, Fenerbahce and recently had a terrible stint at 1860 Munich (who were relegated).

Yea, but because of financial issues. :p
They're first in 4th division though and have one of Germany's best youth academies, so we'll very likely see them back soon.

Swansea now last in EPL btw and Sanches barely even playing anymore. If Bayern are even remotely smart, they'll terminate the loan deal, pay a premium to Swansea and then loan Sanches to a healthy club with an actual system.

This will turn into a pile of rubbish otherwise and we'll sell him for peanuts next year.
