You know when you go to a coach-pitch t-ball game and you watch one of the little kids just swing and miss, swing and miss, swing and miss at every pitch, and then the coaches put up a tee and let the kid try to swing at the ball while it's sitting there? It was like that, except when the ball was put on a tee, he still swung and missed.
Not trying to take away from the doc, but the guy may be getting too much credit on Clutchfans. He's a great poster and is fun to read but I somehow expected more based on what the longtime CF posters have built him up to be.
I don't know about DocRocket but it seems pretty clear to me that many in the Houston organization also were under the impression we were getting a superstar like Dwight. That's the only explanation for trading Dalembert in the first place.
Doc Rocket is not about accuracy it is about the fun of trying to figure out his cryptic messages. To me, he is just a fun guy to follow and read - but if you are looking for accuracy, that went away for him when CD left, IMO. DD
Gonna post again to make it clear... HARD TO TELL is an option that applies to people who think that we should wait and see and don't want to rule his prophecies a bust.
I bet it was accurate at the time he made those cryptic little post, but **** happens and things didn't fall the rockets way.
