Even if no one post in this thread or believes Women's soccer is an actual sport, that USA vs. Brazil was pretty epic.
That was indeed epic. I know I know...'Women playing sports?' but Women's soccer isn't that bad. Not like you have to expect them to dunk or anything. Congrats to the U.S women for pulling it off against a mountain of odds.
The English commentator literally 30 seconds before the tying goal in the 122 minute was saying how it would be the worst USA woman's world cup ever. That was equally as epic of a game as Donovan's 91st minute goal. What a game.
it puzzels me that we can consistently produce women's team of the highest caliber, but the men's program lags behind.
The men play football,baseball, and basketball. I'm sure our team would be much better if the only meanigful sport was soccer.
So pissed that I missed it. Stupid early games. I've watched every US game so far. It isn't as thrilling as the men's world cup but it is still nice to watch something where the US is still considered a powerhouse.
Awesome, probably the most excited I have been by a sporting event since Donovan's goal against Algeria....so I either am becoming a serious soccer fan or the other teams I follow (mostly with Houston on their jerseys) need to get it together or both.
Yeah admittedly didn't know much about her before today...but she gets a thumbs up from me. Plus she has a great name.
I don't want to watch 120 minutes of this game. Just want to catch a few highlights here and there. They're going to reshow this game again tonight at 11pm.

I agree! that's why I try to wake up and watch soccer games live. If I DVR I tend to cheat. when you start FF you lose that little something that makes the game great; it becomes an extend clip show.
