I am watching the UCF @ Temple game with Temple leading 34-28 at the half. Assuming we beat SMU this weekend Temple is who we play next. I am getting ulcers trying to figure out how our defense is going to stop either one of these teams but we have to get by SMU first. Even though we are favored by more than 2 touchdowns over SMU it is a road game and they would love to beat us. Edited to add: I am not really getting ulcers, just a figure of speech but I am concerned.
Games with SMU always worry me; they usually turn out weird in some way. I can't get that game out of my head when Herman was here and they scored at will and the Coogs seemed completely lost.
I am hoping that is what happens. But we are playing at SMU and it is their homecoming so we need to set the tone early. No mistakes and defense needs to play hard early.
