    Pretty impressive if you consider the amount of franchise combinations that could occur in post-season matchups. I'm too lazy to do that math.

    Facts:
    • Rox-Jazz have met 7 times in the playoffs. This is #8.
    • Jazz have a 5-2 advantage
    • As of this series, we become the 15th most common playoff matchup in NBA history
    • The only other more common foe pairings mostly involve the Celtics and Lakers dynasties of old
    • The Jazz now tie the Sonics(Thunder) and Lakers as the most frequent playoff foes in Rockets franchise history

    In conclusion: this is a rivalry.
