I think Lebron would have something to say about this, but even Top 3 or 5 or even Top 10 offensive player speaks volumes about how fortunate we are to have the Beard on our team! What a huge compliment from one of the most experienced coaches in the league today.

 

No Garcia/Casspi, good chance at winning. No Lin, surely we'll win.

 

This win would be so huge. That being said, I'm not holding my breath.

 

All the top 8 teams in the West are playing on the same day tomorrow. Wow! We get the W and we stay in the race for 2nd spot and then hope for OKC to trip over!

 

Funny thing is every playoff team in the west is either playing a non western Confrence playoff team or an east team.

Further more every playoff western team except the rockets are the favourites in the betting market. Tomorrow could be a very bad day if we lose

Regardless of the outcome, I'm proud of the Rockets during this brutal road tip.

I reckon if Beverley can "contain" or just slow down CPaul,
we stand a very good chance.

He doesnt have to score, just slow CPaul down from doing
his thing so it be a 4 on 4 (instead of 5).

 

I predicted we'd go 3-2 out of the All Star Break. We're 3-1 right now, so if Dwight needs to sit and we get pummeled I ain't even mad.

I was hoping for a 3-2 road trip at worst. The Rockets have already clinched that. Obviously I want them to win this game, but they're still in good shape if they lose.

 

Wishful thinking. Overestimating Bev's defense abilities and underestimate CP3's flopping abilities.

Bev's play style governs he will be in foul trouble or he won't contain CP3 or slowing him down. I rather Bev gives CP3 what he gets, but do the hustle on other things like double teaming on post players and going for offensive rebounds. Just cut off CP3's passings, let him score more. Let CP3 score 30, but 5 asts we still win.

 

This is the type of game where will know if the Rockets are a team that can compete in the playoffs and not just beat weaker opponents in the regular season.
