Austin viewing party, Round 1 Game 1

i watched the game there last night. it's bad luck for me. i'll watch it at home.

 

Which 3rd Base? Downtown or the new one in Round Rock? As much as it scares me, definitely have to go see the opening game out somewhere with other Rockets fans!!!

I'm in the N side of town, so I'd like to stay in the area. However, I'll go where the crowd goes. Have to get this bad taste out of my mouth with a Rockets opening series win!!!

Snap I was also at 3rd base last night (first time). Also not going there again... felt horrible after our loss. My friends and I will watch it from home.

 

So whats the deal is this happening or what?

 

We're on, just of question of where! I was thinking it'd end up @ Third Base, but several of you have nixed that due to bad carma from our last loss. There's Cover3 on Anderson Lane - haven't been there yet. Anyone have thoughts on it or other venues?

Why not Third Base? We lost the other night not because you were all at Third Base but because we played like crap in the 4th quarter and missed too many dang shots.

DD you live in Austin? I thought you lived in Houston this whole time. I am trying to get a group of Rockets fans together for Third Base Downtown. The only thing I am worried about, is the UFC PPV is on as well, so it might be crowded and fillied with MMA peeps.

 

I was just about to comment on this. I would be down to go but it seems the place would be really packed due to the UFC PPV.

If I do go, I'll be showing up in my old school Rockets cap and 1994-1995 championship shirt.

 

Any students want to meet near UT campus? Plucker's?

 

What about Cuatros on 24th?
