There's 82 games in a year.....can't expect them to win them all.

Well they played bad. What the hell Ariza is thinking. He was jacking up 3s after jumpshots. He is a horrible shooter.

Kobe neded 25 shots and La simply played no defense which has been their nightmare lately.

HAHA that salmons and garcia really whipped them bad. I saw some "wish traded lamar odom for artest" shouts on lakersground, was funny.

What a good team got beaten bye a bad team? I thought that only happened to the Rockets.

That is sarcasm for the nub nuts out there.

John Salmons is quietly having a good season. If I remember correctly, they won this game without Kevin Martin too.

Andrew Bynum with another less-than-exciting night. Funny how none of the critics backtrack on their hints before the season that he was the next great center.
    I'm not impressed.

That screen is all kinds of wrong. Sacramento Rockets with a Mavericks logo? Why not put up a D-league boxscore while they're at it?

while i still feel the lakers will win the west and probably convincingly they are benefiting from an early easy schedule that was home heavy (including a "road" game against the clippers) they will probably come back down to earth a bit once their schedule gets a bit tough.

also they are the team so far that has been the heathiest (is that even a word?) in the west

portland--oden out for a bit but did well
NO- chandler and peja were out for a few games with nagging injuries
Spurs- parker and manu out for a month
mavs- howard out for how long now?
rockets--yeah dont need to go into our injury problem
jazz- williams out and when he got back boozer went out
suns- they are just wearing down shaq and nash

honestly i dont think they have really face adversity yet. the road wins back to back against the mavs and hornets were impressive though. the total beat down of the rockets was big---though not as impressive as those road wins though.

in short they haven't played that well on the road lately even barely getting past the wizards on the road the other night...but lately they have slipped..their defense and that has never been a staple of the post-shaq lakers.

i am still looking forward to seeing a matchup between the lakers and rockets when we are both at full strength that will be fun to watch

How is this going to affect their run at 70 wins?

it won't. they weren't going to win 70 before, because teams lose games like this.

Wow! A loss like this proves this Lakers team isn't mature enough, yet, to make a run at 70 wins. They have the talent but clearly don't have the daily focus needed for a historic run.
