New season is out and they're hitting it out of the park. I've been doubled over laughing a few times. Daryl from The Office (Craig Robinson) has guest starred in a couple of episodes.
Major kudos for the ridiculously obscure theme song by Norma Taenga. Whoever found it, it is a seriously deep cut. It was a seriously deep cut when it was new in 1966.
It's about 4 episodes into the 2nd season, if you have Hulu you can get caught up. Highly recommended. eta: and yes, @Ottomaton, the theme is a perfect fit.
I want to see the Superb Owl. This season has raised the bar. I thought last season's Vampiric Council was the pinnacle.
Interesting - I was thinking this season wasn't as funny. Maybe the novelty has worn off for me. I did like the human-friend who turned vampire character though. I was really hoping to see what happens with the Beanie Feldstein character (the virgin-turned vampire in season 1) but she was too busy to appear in this season. Also Evie won't be back either and that was a fun little arc.
OMG did you guys catch this week's episode?? Mark Hamill showing up as an old Jewish landlord vampire out for revenge! It was awesome!
Matt Berry is great in this show. I love that Jackie Daytona's (Regular Human Bartender) entire disguise was a toothpick in his mouth.
The main character was a guest in the IT Crowd, also starring Matt Berry. (Slightly NSFW language and situations)
LOVED the IT Crowd. Always wondered how "Work Outing" would be received if it were aired on a major broadcast network in the U.S. so stinking funny
One of the best ways to drain people's energy now is via the internet. This woman is an astrophysicist: "Actually, this is not how space works...read a book." "Women are getting too tall." "Shanghai sucked, where was the Chinatown?" "Jesus actually hates horses." "Now I just wait for the comments to come in...."
