    Anyone else seen this?

Just got through Season 3. Part Reservoir Dogs, Ocean's Eleven, & even Breaking Bad, this is one of the best shows I've seen currently, and I absolutely recommend watching it.

Good show. Just understand it is in Spanish, but there are English subtitles.

I was really into the first handful of episodes in season 1 but it just started to lose me towards the end of the season. I'm not sure why. Maybe I should go back and finish the season but I am surprised they have 2 additional seasons.

It gets better. Think "Prison Break" with a satisfactory end.

I really liked it. (try it, if you like bank heist genre), but won't argue with anyone who says it dragged on.

    very sexy, too

Nah. The spoiler is what it's most similar too.

I don't get these comparisons. I mean, none of them involve a Negotiator as primary story.

The obvious comparison is Inside Man, with more back-story. I mean, that's what the show is, imo, a well-done rip-off of Inside Man with back-story for all the role players and the plan.

I guess you say Reservoir Dogs, because the team was put together with no one knowing each other. That's the only similarity. Same for Ocean's Eleven: only similarity is someone puts together a team of specialists...I can name roughly 4 other heists movies with that similarity. BB is confusing.

Watch more into it and it becomes a cat & mouse game very similar to BB with Walt and Hank. You'll see.

Just started. It's interesting. Different. But I can't quite buy into some of the characters lack of intelligence about what could happen when for example, they walk outside and don't expect a shootout. And that dumb ass boss guy who is scared one minute and then crafting a coop the next. The girl is great. I saw that two seasons got 100% so I'll keep going. I'm into episode 3.

Have seen most of the episodes, it's not my style but I can see how a lot of people will like it. This actress is damn sexy

The actor that plays the Professor is annoying though, he looks like a non-meth'd out version of Shaun Weiss.

Just finished watching the entire season 1-4 this past week. First 3 episodes were excellent and got me hooked but it does dragged on at times and could not wait to see how the heist ended Generally a good show, but not good enough that I was not going to watch the sequel but lots of reviewers thought it was good so I binged watch season 3-4
The sequel does get a bit predictable as with Spanish dramas but I did enjoy the fighting and chase scenes I generally prefer to watch movies than tv series and if this shorter movie length show I would have given higher marks but still an enjoyable show that you don’t overthink to much

    My top 3 moments:

    1. "Ok, how many of us are f'ing a hostage." Hilarious.
    2. The Transvestite coming off the bus. So funny.
    4. Debate over the prayer being said correctly or incorrectly for the dead Bank Robber.

Overall, they did a really good job of creating awkward situations and fun conversations, even if those situations and the actions that led to them made no logical sense. It was believable and compelling to see how they get out of binds, but the strategies are all too often based on chance luck instead of actual strategy. They did poke fun at themselves which made it easy look past that however and have fun. Great characters even though it takes some time to warm up to them. They stay true to their flaws, but do grow some.

The dubbing did not bother me at all, which was surprising to me. Thought it would. It didn't.

They stole a lot. and I mean a lot, from Hollywood Heist movies, even using the same music at times, but it was still good because they took the best parts of those movies and lumped them all together.

We just finished Season 4. Loved the show. Characters were great with some depth (even the "villains"). And really great eye candy (Tokyo and Stockholm).

They do a great job of killing off likable characters. The good news is they do a good job with flashbacks, so you still enjoy characters that were killed off. The scene where they had Nairobi appear with the other dead characters was well done. And Nairobi was one of my favorite characters so looking forward to her flashback scenes. My only annoyance... Arturo. But I understand the need to have him linger like a bad virus.

Me and my wife were struggling getting through the first couple of seasons. Some of the story lines are pretty ridiculous. It definitely has a telenovela vibe to it. Maybe it didn't help that we were watching the English dubbing but we didn't have the attention span to read translations for that long...especially considering how fast the characters were speaking Spanish.

You people crazy. I’m not in the mood to read subtitles all the time. But I would not even bother to watch otherwise. Dubbed is rarely done well and you will absolutely lower the quality of the show or movie.

The thing I was most looking forward to in season 3 was
Arturo becoming a minor character. Whoops.

Directly lifted several identical specific concepts from Inside Man. Only oceans similarity is style, music.

It's basically an action spanish soap opera that didn't really have enough to it to stretch out into two seasons. Like most series lately, would have made a better movie or mini series. Still very fun, I recommend it too.

Love this show. Hated it at first because I thought it was unrealistic but it got better. Nairobi was my favorite, my favorite scene was when the gay guy told the other gay guy to take her and she showed him affection.
