Horrible. Noone is immune and invincible from this virus in the end. Anyone could die.

    https://www.sciencemag.org/news/202...e-steel-immune-system-against-new-coronavirus

Netherland, Greece and Australia are going to do a clinical trial by vaccinating healthcare workers and elderly with the 100 year old TB vaccine.
There have been many studies in the past that show that in the first year after vaccination the immune system is boosted.

Germany is also doing a similar study but with a modified version of this vaccine- which still hadnt been approved for use for TB.

They will try to see if this vaccine offers some protection from covid19.
This study was planned since 2018, and now they decided to rush it with the pandemic.

Not according to my Chinese and Taiwan friends who were fighting this from the jump. They feel masks are essential and help a great deal.

if everyone wore one including the sick it would limit the radius of exposure.

if nobody coughed at all, it would limit the amount of exposure

Well, it does prevent you from touching your face. And that's the NUMBER ONE THING not to do. So I call BS on the whole campaign for non sick people to not use a mask. They were never telling the truth. They just wanted to keep the rush down on masks so they could save them for health workers. And that is fine. But tell it like it is. The Mask helps, it's why they in the medical profession USE it. This is the one narrative that has not made any sense to me empirically or analytically.

For whatever reason he’s decided this is a fun time to argue with everyone about various details. Not sure it’s worth your time. Moving to ignore.

considering a number of people here don't know the difference between what a masks does and doesn't, not sure how you're so offended. try learning something instead of having a false sense of what's really happening. oh bc this whole time people didn't know a regular mask has actual holes and pockets in them that allow the smallest of particles through breathing in and out.i guess that's hard to believe huh

What is everyone's thoughts on this?

I personally believe in the old school philosophy of no man left behind. Not sure how I feel about risking my mother's life so Boeing stocks can recover.

China's active cases are now less than half the number of new cases America had yesterday.

    I'll say I'm skeptical.

Seeing South Korea do the same exact thing makes me less skeptical then I was before. So if we want to call BS on China, how come SK is doing the same thing on a smaller scale?

hmmm...the potential impact on the economy is certainly no joke...people are losing jobs

many can’t afford for things to continue like this for many months

let’s do what we can to stop this virus...idiots going on Spring Break parties and acting like this thing is wildly overblown aren’t helping

You answered it right there bro. It's a super small country, easier to maintain.
