Hopkins has shown he can make big plays. The reason y u don't see it often cause BoB is jack sht at playcalls. But oh wait let's wait another season and maybe BoB will get better at coaching. Or how about the new excuse: Mcnair is the owner and that's why our team is sht b/c he allows it.
I mean.... 1-3 wins could do it, I guess... But I think the damning indictment would be large swaths of empty seats. That, I think, is going to get Cal's attention with far more urgency than a mediocre season BO'B can excuse away.
