I enjoy some of those shows and agree and disagree with some of their takes. But at the end of the day, when you win you will see opinions and takes suddenly change. A young Jordan is a selfish scorer according to the media (wins title) > He's a goat candidate Peyton Manning/Dirk/Whoever is a playoff choker and regular-season player (wins title) > he's an all-time great etc. Nothing wrong with enjoying sports shows and everyone has an opinion, but the end of the day what were the results? Focusing on results is what shapes all the narratives and takes away excuses. Barring anything unethical, then they have to give credit to you. They won't just give it to you, you have to obsessively and intelligently work, adapt and execute your plans to take it.

I go to sleep happy when they win. I study the boxscore and standings. Read clutchfans. I ignore all of that and have an attitude when they lose.
