Carroll is a decent defensive role player that can hit threes. There's no question about his fit, just about how much he has left in the tank and whose minutes he takes.

Is it official yet? Are we at the 2 yard line?

Much better fit for our team. Just old AF.

But still younger than Tyson and Thabo.

Why do y'all keep saying old AF?? He is 33, two years younger than PJ and came off playing a good season last year.

He didn't really start playing until he was 26 so those legs don't have a ton of miles on them. I get that you guys are suspicious why it didn't work with the Spurs but I believe he has plenty left in the tank.

I have no problem with his fit. I was completely on board with the signing. Just saying he is wrong side of 30.

Rockets are already the NBA's oldest team and we just got older with the 2 new signings.

Some players on south side of 30 would be nice.

Not going to happen unfortunately, especially with Capela now gone, our last actual asset. We have about 2.5 seasons left of this experiment and then they'll be some lean years I'm afraid. Here's hoping we can bring one home by then. What we ultimately do with Harden's and Westbrook's current contracts will be interesting. Do we go the KG route and get back what we can in picks and players, helping them gets rings in the process? Do we become a younger Nets-like team, clear cap space, and try to lure another max player or 2? We shall see, but for now, enjoy the ride.

We already have 10-12 playable vets. This is the rotation barring a surprise buyout.

All I'm asking for are 2-3 long switchable 3ball shooting rim protecting rebounding ball handling above the rim defensively disruptive young-ish players at end of roster that we can pretend to develop.

These guys are simply projects, but projects that actually fit our new system and needs on both offense as well as defense.

    6'10 Jonah Bolden 7'3 wingspan (24)
    6'6 Justin Anderson 7'0 wingspan (26)
    7'0 Dragan Bender 7'2 wingspan (22)
    6'3 Tyler Johnson 6'7 wingspan (27)

Sometimes it's all about team systems and styles.
Apparently he didn't fit with what SA was doing

    We'll see.
Ben Mc sure resurrected his career in our system

If DMC can knock down 3's at a reasonable clip, he will open up the lane for Russ or James.
Should have some open looks. Let's hope he can regain his mojo
This season has been his worst from 3, but then again, systems and styles

Of the 4 I like Justin Anderson the best. Seems like he would be a good fit plus his defense was good on Harden every time I saw him play against us. Haven’t watch much of him just few highlights but his size, his shooting and defense would be nice here.
Also like Bender and Bolden but They might be too tall for Morey or MDA.
How many guys can we still add?
I still feel like we need someone who can shoot 40% or so. So when everyone is cold we can get a few open 3points in.
