If I hold two dumbells and stand below a direct light source, I will also look like that. He does seem like he put on some muscle. He didn't put on 17lbs of it - unless they mean since mid last season, when his body would have been in terrible muscular shape from not playing forever.

I DO NOT root for the Mavericks, and never will.

That said, a "bulked up" Porzingis, if he can stay healthy, and Luka... damn, that'll be exciting. Not exciting enough like they're better than the Beard and Brodie or anything... I expect them to finish anywhere from 7-10 in the West. But definitely could be a great duo.

Luka's amazing. If Porzingis can give 22/8/2 blocks, with Luka, it'll be up to Dallas management to not f' it up.

Porzingas issue is staying healthy and staying focused.

He can be exploited defensively in some situations but he is extremely gifted offensively. Seeing how teams like Houston and Los Angeles guard him will be fascinating.

There is not a single coach in the league better at spacing than Carlisle and that will fit well with Porzingas.

17lbs on 7’2” is much different from a 6’5” guy.

I'm really looking forward to him in Dallas (from a fantasy perspective)

I've had him the last couple of years and it has been incredibly frustrating watching a putrid Knicks team go possession after possession after possession without giving him the ball.

Think he's going to have a huge season with Donc.

The main thing about Porzingis is how he does deeper into the season.

I remember the last season with the Knicks he was putting up All NBA level performances to start, but started to slow down and eventually got injured. He's so damn skilled though

This is gonna be all the more reason for the national media to slob on Lukas knob, cause theyre not gonna miss a beat without Porzingis

Unless stars/superstars go to NY with all that cap space, an injured Porzingis is still >>>

At this point he's as fragile as Yao but no where near as great when healthy.

No wonder he and his team wanted to secure the bag as soon as humanly possible.

    5 years $158 million...ouch.
