Westbrook has been playing EXACTLY the way the Rockets need him to play. This is the best version of Westbrook there could possibly be on this team. I hope he doesn't revert back to chucking threes. So in honor of his recent success I retire my Westbrick profile picture.

    Congratulations sir.

    P.s. Dantoni sucks.

Westbrook needs to shoot more for the Rockets to win.

He looks like a serial killer about to build his victim alive inside a wall.

45 points with zero 3 point attempts

He's always been efficient if you factor out his 3PT shooting, he's finally going through a stretch where he's not only completely abandoning 3's, but being is being ruthlessly aggressive at driving to the basket. Bravo WB.

I'll officially become a fan when he gets his TS% up to 55 and his A/TO ratio up to at least 2-1, if he keeps playing this way that should be soon. The key is for WB to consistently play this way, not the ridiculous point totals, but playing smart and efficient.

You are right, he isn't suddenly a better shooter but you can't shoot bricks if you don't attempt the shot in the first place. He is eliminating the shot he isn't good at and doubling down on what he is. It has been exactly what the Rockets need.

Can you imagine if Westbrook bought into MDA and Morey's philosophy like Harden did? Oh man, so happy he's getting away from forcing threes and just showing Morey & MDA how dumb they are for just saying shoot from wherever you want and be a 3pt shooter. Like I said along with plenty others, Westbrook needs to run the show most of the time and cannot just be a freaking 3pt shooter while Harden runs the show.

Actually Morey's philosophy is 3's and layups. He just is doing half of it.

And eliminating any other two point shot. Westbrook is taking full advantage of that particular area.

Westbrook is playing at his mvp level again no doubt about it. Best part is he is on our team this time.

No doubt. Our problem in the past has been that our team fell in love with the 3 and only wanted to do that half of the offense. Shooting 3's is much easier than driving to the basket. Westbrook isn't afraid to work so he will man up and drive the ball in.

Imagine if we had Westbrook driving to the basket in the middle of that 0-27 shooting slump vs GS a couple of years ago. We might have taken that series.

.. Almost got a like there. You had to go messing it up. Who do you think headed up the adjustments meeting that led to Westbrook's success? Tilman? Morey? Harden? Westbrook?
