He is definitely playing hurt. To me, Harden has that mentality of a breadwinner. Breadwinners don’t take a day off. If they are sick, they will just take paracetamol and go to work. Same with Harden. He has carried the team since he came here that he’s not used to take the day off to rest his injuries.
Like they reported PJs nerve damage right? Oh wait PJ let the cat out of the bag. Harden has always played thru injuries and doesn’t complain. He’s not letting on or makes excuses.
Not necessarily. He could be playing through a niggling injury. They don't have to report a niggling injury. He's done it in the past where his knee has been bothering him but he's just played through it. But this time it's clearly affecting how shoots his shot. It isn't a coincidence we've seen him shoot less over the last 2 weeks than we ever have. His overall performance isn't bad, it's just his 3pt shooting is bad at the moment. He's still making most his layups, dunks and floaters. He's still getting assists, rebounds, steals and blocks.... and he's still making most of his free throws. Something is clearly affecting his ability to hit 3pt shots like he used to.
Is there any official communication about Harden's health? Has anyone read or heard any medical report? It is not good to speculate on the health of the players without having official versions.
