It's possible, even likely, that both Harden and Westbrook are messed up, given the minutes they've played over the last 10 years. Give them half a season off and try again next year, when we'll have a 1st round draftee and will be able to use EGo in a trade if desired.

Poor PJ, he can't rest. MDA needs him as backup center. Where the hell on our team are we going to find backup centers?

    Yes I agree. This isn't Morey's style.

PJ is just gonna have to suck it up. ;)

MDA told us that Hartenstein had “locked down the backup center role”

But of course that was a lie. Let’s keep playing PJ 38 minutes a night and burn him out by March.

He just needs to get his legs under him and make a few shots.

As soon as Dwight hit him on that screen the other day, my first thought was that he has a tear in his shoulder.
Watching the replay, his arm just goes limp after the contact.

Back in 2002, I injured a shoulder benching pressing and tried to just rest it, but every time I took a bump, my arm would go limp for a few seconds.
When I finally decided to see a Dr, (former Bulls team doc from 80s), he said that "dead arm" is definitely a sign of a tear.
Even things like pulling shoe strings tight or coughing would cause my arm to drop.
For me it was a minor rotator-cuff tear that continued to bother me for about 10 years.
Hopefully I'm wrong, but I'm guessing he'll have surgery after the season.

The solution is to play him 40 mins a piece.

Exactly. Something he's just gotta work through but he'll be fine.

Jokes on you. On Mike's position chart, there is no such role as 'Backup center'.

Interesting that PJ just killed his trade value, out loud, and on purpose it seems...

wasn't his shooting already off for weeks prior to the injury though?

Th only way to resolve this kind of injury is by playing 40+ minutes a game.

Why does everyone gotta assume there was an ulterior motive? Like the man came out killing it and hasnt shot it well lately, of course there was something wrong. Why are there so many people here who dont understand how important PJ is for us

All I head for the last few weeks was "we hate PJ he cant score wah wah wah" and now it turns out this guy has been playing through nerve pain....the man is awesome and I respect the hell outta of him.

Also....he def needs to rest lol.

Unless LTS steps in and contributes soon.

****ing hell!!! Incompetent piece of **** organisation. Who is running this cluster****?!!! Let go of Clark and continue to play an injured starter 35-40 minutes, even when saying 30 minutes is what you are going to limit it to. How about just let him rest, bring back Clark and start Thabo!

Yeah, let him rest a few games. He isn't helping much at the moment anyways. I admire that he's still out there giving his all. He just can't do it with the injury
