Trump got the memo; he just did not read it. But no worries. Trump's Bolton testifying story will change 4 or 5 more times before Bolton testifies.
lol... dershowitz is trying to spin the hypocrisy between his past and current positions on impeachment... "criminal-like conduct"? LOL...
He isn’t even trying anymore. He is a shell of himself. Twenty five years of fame, associating with scumbags, raping minors, bullying and ego boosting has made him a lazy and entitled grotesque characture of himself. His positions are not even novel or well reasoned anymore. He literally only gets press or attention because of his past decades ago. If he were a lawyer off the street making these quality of arguments he would be laughed at. In the past he has been very good at self half assed theories. I will be curious to see if he still has it in him to give a solid performance. My gut is he will attempt to reframe the issue and argue as he would in a response brief.
The trumplican defense... even if he did abuse his power, then abuse of power without a "crime" is not impeachable...
He didn't just take a call to get dirt on someone he will run against, or even make a call to get dirt... but help up foreign aid to get that dirt...
It's a difficult thing because if he's a lawyer doing pro-bono work for the Trump team then that is a campaign contribution I believe. If he's not a lawyer then he is a witness and there are no witnesses.
Mitt Romney rolls his eyes at Schumer and the Democrats. If everything is an outrage, then nothing is an outrage.
Anatomy of a cover-up: Night time = less attention/focus Fast turnaround = "not important/frivolous". Plus growing public call for witnesses/evidence, and as more evidence becomes known, public pressure to call witnesses and evidence will only increase. Reduced media coverage = you need to ask?
