[Official] Playoffs: Texans @ Chiefs

What does this even mean? He looked at his playbook (during a timeout!) and decided there wasn't a single play in there that he thought could get 1 yard against a defense completely on its heels? That seems like the ultimate indictment of him as a HC or offensive mind.

 

LOL. He already tried this and then took it back the following year when that didn't work. At some point, if he can't call plays, can't manage games, has to have an assistant head coach to help him out, can't hire coordinators, and can't GM properly, maybe - just maybe - someone should say "why are we still paying him?".

 

Maybe he could manage the clock, decide when and when not to take timeouts and help figurd out when a play should or should not be challenged. Maybe he would be good at those things?

 

Yet, they were up 24-0 with a home game looming against a team they were certainly capable of beating to get to that Super Bowl.

 

4 division titles in 5 years, yet the other 3 teams in the AFC South have made it to the AFC Championship game since 2014 and the Texans haven't. 40 year drought for Houston football playing in a conference championship game....unreal ineptitude.

 

That's why I'm at "F BOB." I will never watch another Texans game with him on the sideline as our head coach. I'm done with him.

I know he's not getting fired. I know we will also get a replay of what we saw this season and playoffs next year. This is the best it will get. If I want to watch a circus show I may as well go to one more entertaining than this one.

 

How about everyone at SportsRadio 610, Lopez included, rips the coaching staff and demands change on the air until O’Brien is fired? That would be great.

 

Easily. If I was owner, he’s getting fired first thing tomorrow morning, and I would be tempted to do it immediately after the game.
