Here is another 19 point game from 3 weeks ago. Look at how he can still attack the basket aggressively on close outs and finish above the rim. I’m sold. Better than Clark and Thabo. No good reason not to at least try to bring him in.

Ibaka would be prefect but I don’t see the Raps cutting him which is probably the only way we could get him affordably certainly can’t trade for him ever got nothing to math salary wise and pick wise

Top 10 plays from last season. He can knock down the 3, can handle a little, pass a little, he runs the floor, and can finish above the rim. He’d fit in here just fine playing off of Russ and James. Clear upgrade over what we have now behind PJ.

IIRC, we can use one of our many trade exceptions to claim Green.

He’s a much more dynamic player on offense than Clark or Thabo, and has the length to be a passable defender in our switch-heavy scheme. Also doesn’t hurt than him, Westy, and Harden are boys.

Rivers was our Christmas gift last year. Hope that Green can be this year’s version.

Wonder why Jazz cut him though they seem to want to go all in trading Exum and 2nd round picks for Clarkson but then they go ahead and cut Green.

Unfortunately, Jeff Green is poor in defense recent years. He is not good enough to be a key player, but still could contribute as a backup 4.

Yes. He will be great in our offence and I see him being our new Luc. He will get alot of wide open shots and we have a couple redundant pieces on this team. He would not be and would be perfect for our system.

All these corpse we got on the bench. We should’ve made Utah a trade off.

I’m cool with bringing Green in.

    "He's a poor defender"
    "Hasn't been good in years"
    "We don't need him"

You said the same things about Mclemore & other guys like Gerald Green & Josh Smith. Judging by that, we DEFINITELY need to get him here

wouldnt be bad for depth, even at the very minimum, look at houston depth chart, i mean limit him to 3rd or 4th quarter late play off the bench. They could find some 3's for him im sure if he played similar to tucker...

He is easily better than thabo and Clark. If we can get him for cheap why not ? That’s a steal.

Every championship team needs some Greens. Gerald Green is done, time to get Jeff Green.

i think it would be worth a look to bring him in using one of the exceptions we have. I mean the guy still has some game and I think would fit well in our system. He can get his own shot, hit the spot up at a decent rate and he is still a good long athlete that can finish in the paint. It doesn't hurt that he has payed with James and Russ before so the chemistry would be there. I think he can give us more than Thabo is giving us. Thabo seemed like a good idea in the preseason but now that we have seen what he has left, he is not giving us anything.

The Rockets should be all over this. He is exactly the type of player that they need.
