We have an ok bench. You don’t get the feel of the game if you don’t get to play the game. I believe confidence, feel of the game can get honed if you get more chance to play.

 

I'm assuming you think Harden's defense was also stellar, right? It's not just about points. It's also about making sure one of the worst teams in the league doesn't 110 points on you.

 

The Cavs played him single coverage for 90 percent of the night which goes to show unless you double him for 48 minutes he will automatically get atleast 40 plus. As Bullard said we are watching the modern day wilt chamberlain

 

Westbrook for Klove makes us 33% better.

I do wish he would have given Hartenstein a chance for some backup 5 mins. Save PJ at the 5 for our most dire situations. Energy is infectious an Hartenstein usually plays pretty hard

 

last 10 games Westbrook has started to up his scoring and that is what we need

 

It wasn’t lock down but for the ****ing load he was carrying he was damn good in the crunch. In the crunch he was actually close to damn lockdown. He forced a 24 second violation on love when he blocked him and the tucker three was created by hardens strip on defense where he rotated hard on Thompson. Seriously it seems you have a agenda

Our bench needs a defensive back up center who can dunk or score on alley ops, Tyson is great but can't play that many minutes and Hart is good rebounding and defensively, but offensively he looks lost and doesn't have the hops or perhaps confidence to score. We also badly need a defensive team candiate at the wing position. Someone with height, 6-8 or so who can hit the three and space the floor.

Those are tough to find but it would round us out when Capela is off the floor and another Tucker type player with hieght would do wonders for three point & perimeter defense like young Ariza or Luc Mbah used to.

 

Yes, definitely. Letting the Cavs go one a big run until the last 10-11 minutes will prove to be fatal until serious steps are taken to revive the defense.

 

He was great in the 4th but you can’t tell me he gave much effort the first 3 because he didn’t, but frankly neither did the rest of the team except maybe Clint. It should be pretty terrifying to everyone that we have to literally rely on Harden going to 40-50 a night to beat a shitty team like the Cavs. Harden was hitting his 3 tonight, if he hadn’t we would have lost by double digits.

 

It truly is amazing how mediocre this team is. We BARLEY edged out the awful Cavs by 6 on a night where Harden put in 55 lol....

 

I thought Hart was in RGV? Agreed that this would be a great game for him, on paper.

Eventually 33 year old Tucker will wear down. I'd prefer that to be when he's holding the O'Brien Trophy in June. Not in April, because MDA keeps going to the whip hand in an effort to save his job.

 

The Rockets are .667 and sitting in the 4th seed. At a minimum, they are “above average” and I would say they are “good.” Mediocre is innacurate.

 

playoffs is half a year from now buddy.. you dont play defense on november night against cavs

 

playing defense when not necessary can hurt you and lose you championship....
