What do you think can fix this team's issues? Have had some good Wins and played well vs the contenders but then play games like this and the kings where I think this team just isn't good enough.

Good pulling out the W, but our team needs to get back to team meetings about holding teams under 100 points.

We just need to make those effort and fundamentals built into habits so they are automatic. Glad we closed it out!

Austin and Tyson are sick. Not with the team so they don't contaminate the rest of the team.

Was sick last game. I'm guessing still recovering?
The flu takes me a week or more to get back to normal

I’m struggling to understand how a game against the Cavs requires 41 mins from Harden to get over the hump.

    Rockets in self destruction mode.

A bench that is decent only on paper. A coach that never plays the bench. Whom to give the ball to other than the 1.1pt-per-possession iso god. Defense-is-important-but-there-is-always-next-game coaching staff.

I do not trust this team.

Agreed. I'd still like to see us run inbound sets in those situations but I've been waiting at least 3 seasons for that. I don't think it's consistently happening with this coaching staff.

That's because we have a garbage bench. I fear for us in the playoffs.

This sums Rockets fans perfectly. They celebrate Harden's stats, immediately play victim, without paying attention to this team's chances of winning a championship (which is ALL that matters in the end).

Effort. It's really that simple. Rockets think they are better than they are. When they get leads, they expect teams to fold. Or when they start hitting shots, they don't think they have to play defense.

Not a very inspiring win. Nice rally at the end, at least.

Sloppy execution, questionable player rotations and blown defensive rotations are never fun.

Harden is leading the NBA in minutes.

He logged another 41 minutes tonight.

Give that man his props. He doesn't complain.

At the end of the third, someone called him lazy, even though he already had 35 points. Lol.

    They're still shooting 40% from 3 though...

I know Rockets fans don't care about the defensive end. They just care about stats, but that's the end you can't be lazy on...

Yeah dunno, mental lapses. We saw this last year early to mid season but they got much better however issues were still there. And we saw how they collapsed against OKC last year. It’s the team psyche/mentality that is the issue.
