Max Kellerman Has Spoken About That Harden's Controversial Dunk

I'm sure the Rockets will do everything in their power to rectify the made basket as well as improve the team performance going forward. That's their job. As a fan I can't do anything except care. I care a lot more about the blown 22 point lead than the blown call.

 

I agree with every word he said

Absolutely no excuse to not win that game

THANK YOU. ******* I don't understand how some posters can't hold two divergent thoughts in their head at the same time. The two issues at hand are MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE. The Rockets sucked at closing that game out. The NBA ****ed us out of two points that would have completely changed the outcome of the game, and perhaps play a really big role in playoff seeding. Both things are true at the same time.

 

Yet Max Kellerman was crying that the Yankees should have beat the Astros when they scored a total of 3 runs on the road and 0 runs in game 7.

If the Knicks were in the Rockets position he'd be having a fit about it.

 

What I don’t understand is, they automatically review whether a made basket is a 2 or a 3 pointer. And they adjust the score accordingly afterwards. So why is this not reviewed automatically?

 

Next time the Rockets play the Spurs, they should play those additional 5 minutes after that game. Potential 2 wins in 1 day.

 

Rockets deserved to lose they had played like **** all game long and let the Spurs hang around when they had no business hanging around.

This loss is planted on Westbrook and Harden's shoulders for that brick fest we saw last night.

For years Kellerman has been crying robbery in fights and talking about knockdowns that should have been called that change the course of a fight. Now its "thems the breaks". SMH

yes, the rockets shouldn’t have blown the lead. It was a terrible loss. That being said, it is ok to still be ticked off about not being awarded two points when you should have. I don’t understand why it has to be one or the other.

Just to clarify what you are saying:
If a team is up by a large margin, then it doesn't really matter if baskets that go in are counted or not?
OR, are you saying that if a team is up by 22, but only ends regulation ahead by 2, then they should be stripped of 2 points, and the game sent into overtime because they lost 20 points of their 22 points lead?
Is one of those correct?

Because, technically, the Rockets did NOT blow a 22 point lead. The failure was in the recording of the score. They scored 2 more points than the opposition in regulation, but for some reason the game went into overtime.

YES, I agree it would have been nice to see the game 'put away'. But just because a team is up 13 does NOT excuse a failure to record made baskets in a game of basketball.

 

So basically. . . . . IF a team is up by a large margin
You can f*ck them over as much as you like
and
If they lose .. . it is their own fault

Refs hold no sway over the game. . . teams simply have to overcome them
and not complain because. . .they should be able to win 8v5
