If Harden didn't run back to get the ball I think the refs would've counted it.

The problem with gifting the Rockets the win is the Spurs would argue they would have handled the game differently if they knew they were down two points and it's true, if they knew those last few possessions they were down two points with seconds left they would have played the foul game.

NBA Referees never admit they were wrong. They don't want to get fined, suspended, Not get Playoff games big salaries etc.

Only 1 MLB Umpire who was really bad after that Sanchez missed no hitter, missed call at first, Tiger game.
Admitted he was wrong and MLB didn't change the call, still a 1 hitter.

Waste of time. The NBA hates the Rockets even more because of Morey this off season. First the Nene manufactured trade chip and then the China meltdown.

Serious question, they didn't call a offensive interference on harden? They just according to what I saw said it went out of bounds after he "missed the dunk". Should be a good case for Houston if thats the case

At the very least, it’s a very interesting situation.

He said that, but it wasn't the play on the floor. Go check out gamecast as I was kind of reviewing the game from there. 7:50 mark 4th quarter

I watched the game bro, they stopped the play for basket interference. Mike is the one who called the time out, how would he have been able to do that if the Spurs had immediate possession, thats not how it works.

I am not sure if crying after something that has already happened works.

I mean at least crying during a game, it might affect something.

Has this ever happened, that the outcome has been altered after a game? In modern NBA?

The blatant out of bounds travel by Durant didn't get changed.

I would think the Spurs would protest the protest.

Yea you are right I see that now, but it DOESNT CHANGE THE FACT THAT IT IS INDEED reviewable, the Refs said it was. Thats all the clarification I need. He even said were allowed to review. The official literally saw Harden put it through the basket. And thought it might be interference, idk.

Not to mention, we have video evidence of refs reviewing plays JUST LIKE THIS ONE.

    Shut up, Spurs fan.

I would like the Rockets to take this golden opportunity and rustle some jimmies on a grand scale.

Yea but their case is far greater if it's a referee not counting a basket. That is not judgemental and actually quite a solid chance at getting a replay of the game from the 7:50 minute mark

I think in the end it was treated as a missed dunk (a non-call) and out of bounds. We could have challenged the out of bounds call, but it looks like MDA called a timeout first to try to understand what was going on. He didn’t immediately challenge the out of bounds — he was attempting to challenge the fact that the basket didn’t count, which was not technically reviewable (as, again, it was a non-call). By the he got clarification on what the hell the refs thought happened, the time has passed for him to be allowed to challenge the call that was made.

So, I think the league can possibly squirm it’s way out of this one.
