I was thinking about this the other day for some reason: Is Kevin Love a Hall of Famer? I mean he's won a championship, played in multiple All-Star games, 2x All-NBA....but is he truly HoF worthy? Then I starting thinking about other players. Klay Thompson? Most would say definitively yes because he's one of the best shooters of all time, won multiple rings....but the guy has shifted around with only being the 3rd or 4th best player on his team.

So, if we're just looking at the LeBron era (starting with 2003-2004), which stars do you think will not be inducted into the Hall of Fame?

    2003 Draft:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_NBA_draft

I think every superstar from this draft (LeBron, Wade, Bosh, Carmelo) will get in.

    2004 Draft:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_NBA_draft

Howard should get in. Iguodala.......I'm having a hard time putting him into the HoF. He's never made an All-NBA team, only had like 1 season when he was the primary player, etc. If he gets in then Robert Horry should get retroactively inducted.

    2005 Draft:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005_NBA_draft

Paul will get in. I think Deron Williams misses the cut.

    2006 Draft:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006_NBA_draft

A lot of very good but not great here. Aldridge, Roy, Lowry, and Millsap don't get in. Rondo should get in (All-NBA, All-Star, All-Defensive team).

    2007 Draft:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_NBA_draft

Durant is a lock. I think Marc Gasol will get in. Al Horford?.......no.

    2008 Draft:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_NBA_draft

Westbrook should get in. Rarely do we see MVP winners NOT get inducted..which brings up the #1 pick in this draft, Derrick Rose. He will most likely be the 1st player ever to win an MVP and not be in the HoF. Love is still not getting in IMO

    2009 Draft:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_NBA_draft

Harden and Curry are locks. Blake....very good but not great so no.

    2010 Draft:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_NBA_draft

Only Paul George makes a compelling case for this draft class as Cousins and Wall have both been derailed by injuries.

    2011 Draft:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_NBA_draft

This gets interesting. Kawhi's trajectory right now points to HoF. Then you have Kyrie, Klay and Jimmy Butler. Klay will probably squeak by due to the Warriors dominance. Jimmy might not have enough counting stats or highlights to warrant consideration. Kyrie....I mean if you induct Klay you can't leave Kyrie out right? If it were up to me the only player getting in from this draft class, as of today, is Kawhi.

    2012 Draft:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_NBA_draft

AD, Beal, Lillard and Draymond. I think the awards that Draymond have won will put him in, regardless of his crappy numbers. AD....maybe if the Lakers win the championship this season? Beal and Lillard falls into that very good category for me.

    2013 Draft:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_NBA_draft

Only Giannis from this group is worthy right now.

Blake Griffin was unanimous NCAA player of the year as a sophomore, he will probably make it.

    I don't know...it's odd.

Still amazes me Ben Wallace isn't in the HOF being a 4x DPOY, 5x All-NBA, 6x All-Defense, NBA Champion.

Sometimes they put in guys with the bare minimum of achievements.

I think Rose gets in but he does make a good case for an MVP not getting in.

I don't know if that puts him in though. Looking at the list of past winners:

One pretty good comparison for Blake is Elton Brand. They both had great NBA careers but injuries and the stench of being a Clipper were just too much to overcome.

Wallace not in the HoF is a travesty. That would be a great example to counter the "Iggy is a future HoFer" crowd.

How many of those past winners are also 5-time all NBA, like Blake Griffin?

    Anthony Davis
    Kevin Durant
    Tim Duncan
    Shaq
    David Robinson
    Pat Ewing
    Jordan
    Bird

    (I stopped counting after that....)

Let's get real, this is the Basketball Hall of fame. Calvin Murphy is in it.

Most people on the borderline get in anyway, and if you had a legit college resume and are a 5-time all NBA player - you're in.

Elton Brand, by contrast, made 1 All-NBA team.

Yeah he will on total career accolades, hasn't had a great NBA career, but if t-mac can make it, Blake certainly can.

    If I had to guess...

    Bradley Beal
    John Wall
Gordon Heyward, Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum, and Jaylen Brown, if they don't win a title.

    DeMarcus Cousins
    Andrew Wiggins
    DeMar DeRozan
    Bradley Beal
    Marc Gasol
    Andrew Bynum
    Lamar Odom
    Carlos Boozer
    Rudy Gay
    Monta Ellis
    Brook Lopez
