Except that it wasn't, and neither are you. You have completely bought into the fiction created out of whole cloth by trump, those around him, Mr Putin himself with the tools at his disposal and, of course, trump and Putin's chief enabler and propaganda tool in this country, Fox News.

    ....................................................

You completely ran away from my post in support of FB that was clearly a reply to your own, @dachuda86. You do that sort of thing quite often. Instead of admitting you're wrong when it's proven that you are, or defending what you said when you really can't, you walk away. Not a good look for you, in my opinion. It's spoilered below, in case you missed it, which is highly unlikely.

Sorry...I can't take your post seriously. I tried to respond in a respectful way, but this is all I'm able to come up with. We are so far apart that it's best that we let it lie. With all due respect of course.

"You have completely bought into the fiction created out of whole cloth by trump, those around him, Mr Putin himself with the tools at his disposal and, of course, trump and Putin's chief enabler and propaganda tool in this country, Fox News."

Read that again and take a look in the mirror. Then please shut off the tv, for your own sake. You are accusing me of being a puppet, which is exactly what I take about you from your text. It's at this point that I think it's best that we respectfully agree to disagree and if you can will yourself not to respond to this, I'll take it that you are a bigger man than I. -peace

Like I was saying the last page. Why is Trump again pushing for lower interest rates.
This is short sided and stupid and will leave the US weaker when the economic downturn happens. Glad the federal reserve is not beholden to trump.

    https://www.cnn.com/2019/12/11/business/federal-reserve-december-meeting/index.htm

Fed expected to leave interest rates alone as Trump pushes for more cuts

Exactly the point I was making. But then again I am no economist nor the fed chair.

He pushes for lower rates because his entire business is propped up by variable interest rate loans. He wants to refinance when the rate is at almost zero and save millions. His motive here is pretty clear, and he’d probably admit it if a journalist grew a pair and asked him.

Trump was AGAINST low-interest rate in 2016. He said it hurt the poor and benefit the wealthy. He said the fed kept the rate low to make Obama look good. So, of course, he does the exact opposite now.

As usual, he spills out BS and doesn't understand much of anything. But if you take his past reasoning, he now wants it low to benefit the wealthy, but more importantly, he wants it low to keep the economy going so that he can look good. He simply does not care about long term impact and he probably hate it that he doesn't have direct control of the interest rate himself.

    This.

It is staggering that a decent amount of Americans are rooting for Russia, China and even North Korea.

Those are three horribly oppressive countries.

It is bad enough that we have a "good" relationship with Saudi Arabia and enable them.

We should be better than that.

Surprise, he cares about one thing, or one person above everything else.... Donald J. Trump. He cared about getting elected as President so he copied Bernie's talking points and lied about his policy platform.... to serve himself. Once in power all policy decisions made were the complete opposite of his populist campaign talking points and ultimately made to serve..... himself.

We are already a socialist nation - all we lack is healthcare - ignore the billionaire class creating a bunch of people who think they are going to be millionaires - and that we are all not entitled to the same rights.

We are - don't fall for the propaganda -a rising tide lifts all boats.

We are already a socialist democracy, it is just that some people are too stupid to be able to discern that.
