Lost by 12 to Oregon tonight. The lack of three point shooting is going to be a real problem this season.
At one point they were 1 for 19 from 3. Also they need to get better on defense. At halftime Oregon was shooting over 50% both from the 2 and the 3. With our rotation of big guards and depth I expected us to be much better on defense that what we have shown so far.
He's ridiculous reminds me of Ja Morant. I went yesterday to watch him play against Morton Ranch. He was double teamed the whole game but still managed to drop a trip double, almost dunked on a 7 footer. My suggestion, go watch him play while hes still in high school. My daughter won us a bbq Turkey at half time in a free throw contest.
I'm enjoying watching the progress of the team this year. Defense is getting better every half they play.
Good win yesterday. Grimes was as hot in the first half as he was cold in the second half. Coogs defense is legit, offense still seems shaky though. They play #21 Washington tomorrow. Apparently they have a couple of legit first round picks on their squad.
The defense and rebounding are just fantastic. The offense is just about whoever is hot and it seems to be working okay for now.
This was a huge win against a very talented opponent. The way the game started out with Washington hitting all those 3's and building a 14 point lead I thought it was going to be a long night. Great comeback win and 10-3 sounds a lot better than 9-4. Huge free throws by Grimes at the end. Can't wait until next Friday night to get our conference schedule started.
