Verlander vs Cole to start the season? Should be epic.

10 of our first 21 games are against the Angels. That's freaking weird.

Make no sense that the last 10 games are against non-divisional rivalry. So stupid!!

Perhaps MLB doesn't feel like the division race will be interesting at that point, but Astros vs Yankees/Braves might be more compelling matchups of playoff-bound teams.

I do a trip every year on the road.

    2015 Kansas City
    2016 Boston
    2017 NYC
    2018 Arizona
    2019 Seattle

Was really hoping for the Cubs this year. Looks like at Washington will be my best bet. And of course an easy trip to Arlington,TX

Glad we're opening at home as the WS Champ should never have to start on the road. Didn't Boston have a brutal 10 game west coast road trip to start the season...coming off a championship? What's the deal every year with MLB's rush to release their schedule? Every other sport releases them in the offseason and it gives time for tweaking so that the Champ doesn't open on the road.

The most difficult road trip of the season may be the final 7 games of the year.

Is it bad that any time I see an Astros calendar schedule, my eyes always focus on when the Astros play the Mariners after they play the Angels, A's, or Arizona like August 16-18 2020?

MLB's never been great with the scheduling.

That's not how it's supposed to work, per MLB.

I'm making that trip. Why the hell not?

ESPN hoping for a Cole/Verlander showdown. If that happens along with baseball fans just wanting to get a look at the Astros after the cheating scandal could make for excellent ratings for a regular season game. I suspect Astros games will get a ratings bump next year in National TV games and for opponents broadcasts...you're welcome TV networks.

Was really hoping that 2nd series against the A's was at home. Will have to wait until the end of April to see Fiers vs Astros Crowd.

Can’t wait to bang a seat or whistle before his pitches.

They may strategically line him up so he doesn't pitch in that 1st series at MMP.
