Giod question especially due to him likely being very affordable. Not a great shooter, but could have a big defensive role on this team and is very athletic. Looked real good when on the Spurs

It does and your absolutely right about looking at Clint Capela this way. I would add Rudy Gobert to this, but based on team results players like this sometimes make Allstar games at least in the eastern conference.

If you're giving up a 1st rounder it usually has to be attached to a mid-sized contract. Outside of Capela, the Rockets don't have any, so this doesn't really go us much good.

McLemore is going to be a hot commodity if he puts up a few more of these games.

McLemore and a first should get us a very good wing.

McLemore earns 2,028,594. So this "very good wing" would have to earn 2,434,313 or less.

Add in Nene or Gerald Green (ugh) for matching purposes as needed.

Ben + Nene + FRP for Jonathan Isaac.

I'm literally going to repeatedly call for trading for him this season while he's on a rookie scale deal. He's the player to put in this system for now and the future. If I'm Morey I'm offering every asset for JI before he breaks out.

If the T-Wolves continue to fade and are out of contention by Jan 14 (when Nene can be traded) the Rockets can build a package around House and a #1 pick that would bring in Covington without giving up Ego.

    I covet covington...

you’re crazy if u think Orlando would ever give up Isaac for some mediocre pick and useless assets like Nene and Ben McLemore

Can we please discuss realistic options?

I like Isaac as well but this package is not going to do it for a 2017 6th overall pick.

He's just too young and too talented (plus cheap as you mentioned) to be let go for peanuts.

You're delusional if you think Orlando will give up Isaac who's a legit DPOTY candidate for that poo poo platter offer.

Pointless trading our only wing and shooter over 6'5 to bring in a wing and shooter over 6'5.

House has got to stay and we need to ADD a big wing
