I haven’t seen this much at all. His lateral quickness was the very first thing that stood out to me last year. He and Rivers really *turn* ballhandlers at elite NBA levels, imo.

    This.

The hypothetical scenario is he takes a buyout and then signs with the Rockets. We add a wing that has a 7’0” wingspan, is very strong and a athletic enough to switch easily on defense. Most likely his scoring goes up because he can run well.

As far as a trade goes, we cannot trade for him because Tilman wouldn’t take back any extra expiring contracts so we cannot do it without trading Capela or Tucker.

So yet another example of Tillman screwing his front office and team. We are at the complete mercy of him being bought out and him choosing the Rockets over every other team.

Not having salary ballast is killer. Case in point, the Blazers need a PF and can look at the Knicks come Dec 15th. Blazers *DO* have salary ballast in Bazemore and can flip him + 1st for someone like Marcus Morris. Rockets could be in the SAME boat *IF* they had the salary (Anderson/Knight). But, alas, Tilman penny pinched and they have to HOPE an MKG can shake loose. But they have no control over it.

Yup and the coach and front office will be blamed for by the very person that caused the problem.

    Last 7 games: Dan House
    30 MPG
    8 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists
    FG: 35%
    3FG: 26%
Soft, soft, soft... Really disappointed that he is not defending like we had hoped he might. Just because your shot is off, doesn't mean you can't chip in with toughness.

    Last 7 games: MC Ben
    31 MPG
    17.3 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists
    FG: 52%
    3FG: 46%

Uh... House is still a better defender than Macklemore. I prefer Ben, but if all you're worried about is defense... House is the right guy to be in there at the start of games.

Personally, I've been happy with Macklemore for continuing his success after being put back on the bench. Props to him for keeping his confidence up!

I still think of House as a good bench player. We need a big upgrade at his starting position, in someone who is a much better defender as well as a guy who averages more than 10 pts a game. Oh, and someone 6' 10 or taller.

The good thing about House is he doesn't let his poor shooting affect his hustle. During the comeback, his shot was broken, but he was all over the court picking up 50/50 balls and he attacked the rim knowing he can no longer shoot. got a couple huge layups in the 4th quarter.

I dunno, but I hope it is just the illness - will say that he seems happy as a complimentary player and we need those.

I wasn't saying otherwise, to be clear.

Just noting that MC Ben has been hooping during the 7-game span. Of course Dan is better on D, generally...

They will both just make our bench solid for rotations when we get that veteran upgrade forward in free agency. You know, that big upgrade we need at wing to make our starting roster more competitive against the Clippers, Lakers, Mavs, and Nuggets.

Would trade House to MEM for Dillon Brooks and Bruno.

Or to MIN for Keita Bates-Diop and Noah Vonleh/Jordan Bell.

I hear good things about them but I am not overly familiar with them.

The current version of House is not cutting it though

Think he’s just in a shooting slump.
