https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/10/us/politics/supreme-court-race-discrimination-comcast.html If you read the details of the case, it basically tries to make everyone overlook the fact that these are low budget filler channels with poor viewership with a .Tv suffix - ie, they stink based on merit - and tries to make it about African ownership needing a "seat at the table of capitalism". You know, because of what MLK said and slavery. And it will be pushed based on bureacratic red tape technicalities... not the facts. Very disturbing sense of entitlement that ignores why so many successful immigrants come to America - merit - and hurts marginalized communities. It is no wonder crime continues to escalate despite black Presidents, CEO's, quota systems etc.
Hooray! Growing up as a poor white American, I can now sue any company I want if they don't have a poor white American making decisions for them! That's my ticket to winning!! Women, gays, latino's, asians, transgenders. . . everyone needs to get on this gravy train real fast.
It is an issue nonetheless - and one you choose to ignore because its not the fluff you want to hear. Great approach to life.
This is a privileged viewpoint that the majority of Americans, rural and urban, can not relate to. There is no trust in the government, the news etc. and they need information as a result.
