Wow, K State beating the snot out of OU who will fall out of the National Title picture. That is a shocker.
I think this might put Notre Dame above them in the pecking order due to a much better loss. So an undefeated SEC, B10, ACC and 1-loss Notre Dame could keep OU out. 1-loss Pac12 Champ Oregon would be interesting too, if Auburn stays up there.
Over the last 4 years, WSU has recruited no 5-star players and 5 4-star players. Oregon has recruited 41. And WSU took the #11 team to the wire on the road. This is the essence of what makes Leach great: he's consistently competes despite almost always having a massive talent deficit and occasionally pulls off top-10 type years with a team of 3-star players. There's a reason the only time he's ever been fired from any of his gigs is when a b****y booster created a fake controversy because he didn't like the fact that his son wasn't getting playing time. There are not many coaches out there that can get the results he does. He has a personality issue that will prevent him from ever getting a top job though.
