Look at def rating in the 3rd and 4th row ,were eric gordon is playing sf.Rockets def rating is abysmal. The 4th row offensive rating is ludicrous by itself.Shout out to @stanfordkp on twitter for this find.

The starters (which should include D-House) - are really freaking good, with clear room to get better as Russ gets acclimated and Clint regains his shoulder.

Real key is the mixed lineups - need two wing defenders on the court, and right now, EG is a traffic cone. https://t.co/S18gujRHti
— StanfordKP (@stanfordkp) November 7, 2019

Well when you have the heat lakers and clippers that have speed with height. Makes it tough... even Dwert on the Lakers is slimmer and faster. Eric Gordon has to come off the bench now.
words can barely describe how trash EG has been...1 of the most harmful players in the league to start the season got an extension and then comes out playing like this...u hate to see it I hate watching him play...so annoying every time he drives into the lane all out of control and starts yelling and throwing his hands up after yet another miss at the rim
No small ball isn’t dead. I also think it is funny that all these supposed experts and professionals now are commenting on the importance of long wings like it is some new stunning development.
Theres a difference between small ball and running out 4 guards and pj tucker who is already undersized
Right, Warriors won championships playing smallball. It's not dead, you just need the right guys to run it. EGO just needs to hit his shots, that's it. He gets so many open looks that his less than average defense can be excused if he's hitting his shots.
Need 3 more good players on bench to be the best offensive team ever. low cost bench shooters like GS and clippers have.
A net drop of 125 points with Gordon for House is staggering, even on a small sample size. Nuts. Small ball isn't 'dead', but it's gone back to being a change of pace weapon, not a full-time strategy. You're going to have a tough time playing small ball against Lakers, Clippers, Sixers, Jazz, Bucks, etc. It's going to take a while for Morey & the fans to shake off the hypnotism of chasing only one team in Golden State. There's a lot more uncertainty and versatility needed this season because of it. Regardless, if you do go 'small ball', you need to go wing-heavy, not guard-heavy. Guard-Guard-Wing-Big-Big - traditional basketball (Jazz, Lakers, Bucks) still effective. Guard-Guard-Guard-Guard-Wing like we play? Dead or dying. Guard-Guard-Wing-Wing-Wing? This is where the money is at, especially for a switching defense.
The only way for smallball to be dead would be if clones of Shaq filled the league. If there were trully dominant skilled huge Centers then that would be the death of small ball.
The weird thing is he couldn't miss in pre-season. Harden looked better than ever in pre-season too. I don't understand what is happening. I just know that Hartenstein can fix it.
Wasn’t EG awful to start the season last year also? Wasn’t EG magnificent against the Jazz in the first round of the playoffs last year?
yep the way mclemore and Gordon are playing is abysmal. The injury to Green has really hurt our depth and productivity at the backup sg position
