I got blasted for making a thread saying Cuban was a better owner than Les None of the people who blasted me were even in the same league as me for being a pure fan. Cuban turned a horrible franchise into a legit contender and attraction for Dallas. Also points for Cuban for keeping Dirk a Maverick for life. Dream should have never left. True had the year mixed up but doesn't change the point. If anything it further proves it. You acquire a future HOFer to make a legitimate run and sell right before the season? One would think if he was truly invested into the team/city/fans he'd want to be a part of something potentially special. Instead it propelled preseason expectations and it was time to cash in.

The City Edition Jerseys scream this. I lived in Houston just under two decades between school and work. When I would think about how beautiful the city was I'd think of cruising at night on 45 passing downtown taking in the skyline, passing by Transco/Williams Tower and the water-wall, walking the underground of downtown. NONE of that is represented but hopefully Till brings that in. I loved cruising down Bellaire Blvd as well but that wasn't all of H-Town.
You’re right of course, but... We tend to gloss right over trading for Clyde when the 94/95 team was treading water. Les wanted that trade badly. The Rockets most likely lose that year without Clyde. Rudy was a genius turning Horry into a stretch 4 and that year was history. But you and I have discussed this in the past. I’m really worried that TF is going to think he’s the smartest man in the room (he’s not) at all times and ruin this franchise for the foreseeable future. Hope I’m wrong.
