we get the guys who are average at best at shooting, but will have some stat saying they shoot 40% from the 3 when wide open...then they come here and toss up bricks

Do we ever have an elite shooter? Nope. It’s so hard to watch. Other teams will at least generate their threes via off-ball movement. We just take a bunch of standstill, spot up threes off drive and kicks from Harden and now Russ, and a lot of players on the team just have low shot IQs. They’ll be 5-28 as a team and keep jacking. There’s no thought of trying something different.

I think we can currently say that there is something fundamentally wrong with the Rockets

The Heat don’t even have a really good PF, and Capela should be able to handle playing against Bam Adebayo. However, starting Gordon over House on a night when your opponent has 6’8 Jimmy Butler at small forward is just bad coaching.

I shudder to think what Jaren Jackson, Jr. and Jonas Valanciunas are going to do to the Rockets tomorrow, too. That’s a better frontcourt than Miami has.

they can’t shoot, they can’t defend, they have no height, and they have no variety to the game plan

jack up 50 threes with average shooters that are terribly inconsistent, and it looks like they’re just free styling on defense

How many easy looks did Miami get? They looked ridiculously unprepared.

It's doubtful Harden would be mature enough to handle a benching. He can barely handle not having the ball in his hands. Then there's Game 6 vs LAC. We won that game, but there was still a problem.
