Westbrook is shooting a whopping 41% of his shots at the rim and finishing at an 82% rate. He has reduced his 3pt shots and turnovers to only 4 per game
I like the shot selection. Don’t know how to gauge the attempts and turnovers since he is taking less shots and has lower usage. Seems like he’s shooting 3’s at the same rate.

Crazy, barring any major injuries, he's basically a lock to be top 10 in assist all time. When most people think Westbrook, I bet they don't think top 10 passer of all time. And if Harden stays healthy, also a lock to become top 20 all-time scorer.
Yeah I think usage is a good rule of thumb to measure turnovers, but it can also be misleading. For example magic Johnson had a high tov%, but that's only because he didn't take a ton of shots. He only averaged 4 turnovers per game while controlling the ball probably most of the time. But then a high scoring player can have more turnovers and lower tov% because he takes more shots. I don't think it makes sense to say magic is more turnover prone when he controlled the offense so much and created so much for teammates. Likewise Westbrook is still averaging 10+ assists and scoring 22 ppg and playing at a high pace. 4 turnovers seems pretty low even if his usage has slightly dipped
Good points. With Westbrook and Harden controlling 99% of the action, I expect team turnovers to be low, which is really all that matters at the end of the day.
Yep and if they can keep it to 8-9 and limit opponent fast breaks off turnovers we should be good there
