If Harden plays average we blow them out.

    Team will be fine.

I actually think they played ok. I think james played an egg tonight, and the refs were bad.

    Just what I thought.

Westbrook gonna improve the fast break offense & rebounding, while also opening up much more open 3 opportunities because of his athleticism and slashing ability.

The Rockets still gonna have ugly shooting nights because Dantoni and Morey are so committed to this chucking 3's offense with a gang of unreliable shooters

    Harden had two baskets.

overall I think the team will be unstoppable given Harden plays normal.

    just an off night.

They scored 111 against a good defense and off shooting nights by harden and Gordon.

    Defense is the problem.

I’m encouraged by what we saw tonight from Westbrook. Without Westbrook we would have been blown out of the game. With him we had a shot even with Harden and EG playing like ****. He even outrebounded Crapella like I joked about over the summer.

Fortunately we will only see the Bucks in the finals or not at all. They just own Harden for whatever reason.

Crapella, EG, and Harden need to man up. That’s enough of these types of shitty performances.

Harden and EG shot like **** and we still should’ve won. Westbrook did exactly what we wanted him to do. It sucks we lost but I thought overall we look promising.

Loved what I saw from Westbrook in the second half. Had me fired up

The fact that he had 16 rebounds solidified my belief that Clint is soft

luckily the rockets don't play the bucks and jazz every night, so harden will be great against the rest of the NBA (unless they watch the tape and implement that defensive strategy).

chemistry is a lot of things. It’s being in sync with your teammates, creating bonds on and off the court that creates trust, personal bonds/comfortability and almost boarder line mind reading

Idk about you but I play a lot better with friends/people I know then I do randoms. Same concept kind of but a lot deeper.

for low level ball though it’s not really that relevant or focused on but you can always tell which squads in high school click together better because they just have better chemistry and on and off court bonds with each other.

The issue will not be Harden and Westbrook... it will be the players around them.

The Rockets are at the bottom of the league at the 4-5.

The Rockets are very low at the 3.

Having the best guard rotation in the league (and yes Gordon is really a guard) isn’t enough.

    The defense inside is atrocious.

We really need length that can also shoot, was sad to see Bennet cut wanted to see his 42% 3pt shooting in there.

Clint is the most valuable trade asset the Rockets have. He doesn’t really fit the Rockets anyway.

The Rockets need to be looking at dealing him for a legitimate wing 3/4 that has length and strength and can shoot.

Nothing against Clint as a person. The Rockets in this system can use any number of guys to do what Clint does. If we had a really strong 3/4 wing on this team he would look better.

There were defensive concerns with Bennett but agree with you on the need.

I think most superstar duos have poor depth. Maybe only clippers are the exception..

Harden and Westbrook will just have to be consistent and carry them

We looked pretty decent, just looks like their first time together on the floor. Gordon was rusty, Westbrook seems to still be bothered by his finger and Harden was trying to figure out how they were calling the games. 5 offensive foul took him out of rhythm, especially since 2 or 3 took away some buckets that would usually go get him going.

The good though is the energy and rebounding that Westbrook brings and Hardens willingness to focus on facilitating when he can't get his offense going. Overall, we'll be fine.
