    I like Orlando but don’t think his 3 man front is working. A horrid secondary with no rush is a bad bad combination.

    Until UT gets a better pass rush and tackles better than a pee wee football team they will be a top 25 team but not the NC contender we all want.

    Jerrod Heard was drafted by the Dallas XFL team.

    In addition to Heard, former Texas offensive linemen Kent Perkins (St. Louis) and Patrick Vahe (Los Angeles), defensive lineman Cedric Reed (Los Angeles) and defensive back Davante Davis (Tampa Bay) were scooped up in the XFL Draft. Ten former Longhorns were available in the XFL’s draft pool.

    It's so sad that our cornerbacks have been so bad since Duane Akina left. We used to be considered DBU. :-(

    LHN had a stat during the Kansas game that we give up 10 missed tackles a game, leading the FBS. That's so bad.

    I believe it. BJ Foster has been particularly horrible as of late. Not sure if he’s hurt but looks like he has avoided some tackles as of late.

    Wasn't he wearing some kind of brace in the OU game to keep his shoulder from moving around too much?


    Pretty sure he wanted to stay on with Charlie Strong but he got the boot anyway and has been kicking ass as the DB coach at Stanford ever since.

    He was. It looked like he was at 50% the whole game. He clearly gave less effort on the field that game.

    What a difference a few weeks make. Loss to OU and barely avoiding disaster again KU. Shepherd goes into the portal. Rumor that Jake Smith was considering it (not sure how true but story had some legs it seems). And now 4* DE decommits.
