Miller is who he is. I can respect that, and I also respect those that find it hard to deal with it. He isn't malicious or mean-spirited. But the way he is doesn't always mesh well with others. The thing is that when he does mesh well, it works out great for everyone.
I also liked the premiere. As always, Gilfoyle, Dinesh and Jared are the highlights. I'm not sure why they're keeping the Gavin Belson character around. He doesn't have much of a point anymore.
I thought it was great, with one problem Spoiler Was it not blatantly obvious they would steal the AI in the end? That was a little too predictable, IMO.
Agreed Dinesh could tone down a bit Jared is the star The CEO consistently making sh*tty decisions is getting old. Rocket River
The dude has basically failed up all the series. . . i dunno if they will take it that far to put them back at the incubator Rocket River They should just let Jared run everything
The most recent episode was the funniest thing they've done in years. Jared finally snapping was so hysterical that I had to rewind the scene to catch everything he said because I was laughing so much. Great scenes with Gilfoyle and Monica this week, too.
"YOU b****-MADE MOTHER****ER! YOU THINK I'M AFRAID TO CATCH A CASE? I WAS STATE-RAISED!" Oh my god Zach Woods is so good on this show. I died.
The dick-measuring contest line was pure genius... both with Dinesh's set-up and then the payoff at the end with the Chilean. "It is I who will be measuring the most dicks!"
Sucks that this is the final season... this show is still as fresh/witty as ever... almost like they're just now hitting their stride. I figured there would always be plenty more plot material after the company became a real company.
Jared snapping was probably one of the greatest moments in the history of the show. I feel that the show is still great and the characters still have their really good moments but it just seems the arc of richard messing up but then being saved by some long shot is getting a bit too repetitive.
It was. A lot of character plot developments building and this is the last season. Gonna be interesting to see how he wraps all this up?
