Yep for two guys that used to play together, they look like it's their first dance. I can't tell if it is just our system or we have no idea how to properly incorporate another star.

Right now Harden is a lot better than Westbrook so he can do whatever he wants. It’s Russ who has to adjust.

Harden isn’t the same player and neither is Westbrook. They are literally the polar opposites on the court.

Yeah not really a problem right now. They’ll need to figure stuff out for when defenses scheme against them, especially in the playoffs. With James though, the offense should be excellent even into the playoffs. It’s our horrible defense that needs work. It’s clear that the team is taking its time to learn the system.

Perhaps the russ and harden are saving the best for the playoffs avoiding to give the teams a full season of tape how to best stop them?

He's right. MDA hasn't changed anything in the offense. They're basically taking turns isolating. One thing is clear, Harden is NOT a distributor or guy who looks to get others involved. He only passes to get the assist, but doesn't look to move the ball to let everybody touch it. The strategy should be to get everybody looks early then dominate 2nd half

Did you even watch yesterday game? Till Russ injured his finger they were playing great together. I also think Clint and Eric Gordon disagree about harden not being a distributor since they have been living off Harden for years

This kind of always happens though.

Durant played as if Curry wasn't there (even though Curry is far better).

LeBron played as if bosh wasn't there.

Hakeem and Barkley didn't mesh that well. Etc.

This is stupid. When Harden is was on the floor last year, we had the best offense in the NBA so Harden should play like he always played. What we should focus on is how the offense is when he's not on the floor.

The difference is Harden unnecessarily took double the shots of anybody else last nite. If he's gonna continue doing this, don't use the excuse he was "tired" when he falls short in the last 7 minutes of a important playoff game. The point of Westbrook was too take the load of Harden. Harden's not interested in a free flowing offense

Chemistry doesn't happen overnight. It will take some time for them to figure it out.

I think deep down inside any star knows if they come to Houston their shot taking will go down dramatically with Harden running the show. It won't matter how good they are playing in any given game. Regardless, Westbrook will still it up more points than Paul did.

How dense do you have to be to claim that assists and being a distributor are somehow unrelated?

    Just, wow.. lmao.
