I completely expected it, and nothing I said about why he shouldn't be has changed. I don't suppose ARod is repeating 800 times about how moving Yordan around in the lineup is hurting his confidence and morale. I'm not holding my breath on that.
i mean if you have a list of guys struggling and nobody else in line to make a case for themselves for a shot, you're pretty much going with the guy that has a higher ceiling. the decision would be harder if anyone else didn't look just as bad or worse
Hinch sounded annoyed when interviewed during the game, and after the game. Think he knows his gut failed him again with Verlander and the rotation. Trust the rotation.
How can the whole f****** team be in a slump at the same time! It seems impossible. Aside from a couple of timely home runs they haven't done s***!
I think it is me attending the game. Sorry guys. I'll start another 14 year sabbatical attending a playoff game.
who cares. astros have 3 wins and ny has 2. the stros could score 1 run and win and that's all that would matter
Going to Verlander to close the series out hasn't gone so well thus far. Very similar games both times.
Urquidy is no bullpen game. He's a legit 4th starter. Give him a leash and he may deliver. He's a coin toss, but against the Yankees, he's on par with what they have if not better.
Urquidy is our 4th starter in the rotation on paper. You know that. Verlander pitched out of rotation because Hinch wanted the series over tonight.
Exactly!! I've been saying that since the rainout. I really would not have cared about losing this game if JV and Cole were scheduled at home. No f****** way those two guys lose back to back at Minute Maid!
