Its like the entire world knew they were going throw him a breaking ball. They threw him a sinker, slider, curveball and it was so simple. Jesus. That was hard to watch.

DH Brantley tomorrow and give Tucker or Diaz a start in the outfield

Tucker has looked just as hopeless. Can't layoff the head high fastballs.

It's the right call again by Hinch. Peacock needs to see some action, and AJ needs to see if he can be counted on in games 6 & 7

You never take out a guy like that. He's always dangerous. The Yankees would never take out Judge and Alvarez is a better talent. I would take out Brantley and put in Kyle Tucker.

So, if we go down tonight and win tomorrow night we get Zack in game 1, Cole and then JV,

I'm going to focus on the fact that every single one of us would have been thrilled with a 3-2 lead coming back to Houston before this series started. This performance shouldn't take away from the fact that we are still squarely in the driver's seat in this series.

Does it seem like in all of Stros playoff history our achilles heel has been RISP?

No, if we win this tomorrow, it doesn't change anything. Verlander would still be on full rest for Game 2 of the World Series.
    Cole
    JV
    Greinke

He can change a game with one swing, so I understand running him out there...

But I'd rather see Diaz or anybody who can have a functional AB.

Yordan's performance is the most demoralizing thing about this series

We need three very professional ABs against Chapman here, at the very least. Put some pitches on him.

True but perceptions change. It's like Twins fans telling themselves when they were down 2-0 if someone had told them in April they would be in the playoffs they would be thrilled.

    This.
Absolutely would’ve been shocked to take all three in NY so yes up 3-2 is not a disappointment. Just don’t get to set our rotation the way we’d like. It may not be optimal but we’re still masters of our own.....you know

As great as Yordan has been in the regular season, I'm starting to think that the moment is just too big for him in the postseason. He is a rookie, after all. I also think that opposing pitchers have "figured him out" and he hasn't adjusted.

That said, I do not agree with the folks who want him benched. I think all he needs is just ONE big hit (preferably a HR) for him to come out of his funk and erupt offensively.
