Zach Steffan is crap on distribution, and is just not confident in playing the ball at his feet. Our passing is crap, we can't handle the pressure, our tactics are horrible when we are outnumbered, we don't counter..... Terrible. DD
Not exactly. That was a Uruguay B or C team and it was a friendly. There were certainly some positives but it wasn't a game you could take anything away from. The mexico game was a much more apt description of this team right now. No confidence in he center backs at all. No distribution from the midfield. Can't handle high pressure well. And can't finish when the opportunities present itself.
Ream, Dest, Sargent, and Boyd all Euro based players that started that game. That certainly wasn't our A lineup but it was still a game you can't take anything from.
True, but Pulisic was gone, as was McKenna and Weah - arguably our 3 best....and Boyd sucks balls. DD
Berhalter has had enough time. He's clearly not the guy to get the most out of the pool of players currently available...one that is shrinking as players like Dest decide to play with other national teams. These losses are inexcusable. My Sunday night Over 35 team could've beaten Cuba. Losing to Canada is just pathetic. I honestly see a very slim path to qualifying for '22 if things stay as they are.
