Trying to figure out what to do....ignore Tanaka’s excellent post season record because he is not near that good in the regular season while at the same time ignore Greinke’s excellent regular season record because he is poor in the post season.

Some might say being on the autism spectrum may help his pitching. We’ve all seen certain autistic individuals do incredible things.

Point is, I don’t think he’s bothered by much on the mound.

Bregman should just start mouthing gibberish and making gestures to make the Yankees paranoid

No Stanton again. Nice. Also Boone really loves shuffling lineups

No because that means we need to score 4 runs again, not likely.

Thank goodness nothing came from the whistle allegations.

The Astros should hand out whistles as a promotion next game

Hmm, #NextManUp. That's a pretty good motto for a team that's been beset by a record number of injuries this year. I like it better than our #TakeItBack, which I think sounds a tad entitled.

Respect now out of the way, let's go beat the crap out of these guys and devastate their fans even more.

I really think the whole whistling thing was done by the Astros purely as psychological warfare. Same with Bregman's overly expressive talking with batters on deck. It's a strategy to play into the Yankees paranoia. If it makes pitchers constantly check and second guess their mechanics out of paranoia the Astros are seeing tells, that itself can be a distraction to the pitcher and cause a mistake over the plate. Arnold Schwartzenegger's book The Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding has a whole chapter on psychological warfare and getting in your competition's heads to psyche them out to get an edge. Astros are a cerebral organization, I love it.

I hope they're grape whistles. Ya know, for the kids.

Stros underdogs for the first time is a very long time. lets go up 3-1. Greinke was brought here for this. He's due! Hopefully the bats give him a ton more help compared to Game 1

Oh, goody, wind blowing out hard to the short porch in right field. Hopefully, that changes by game time.

Does a windy game help or hurt a slow ball pitcher like Greinke? What about a fast pitcher?

I think it helps a pitcher like Greinke. I used to love throwing with the wind in my face, it gave the offspeed stuff a little more bite and the fastball had more movement.
